I say that in all our Kenyanness, we are trivial in thought and deed, starting from the very top cream of our society all the way to the bottom, be it in the family or in the wider space of social being. Parents have filled their children's minds with filth and evil notions in the name of preserving culture and protecting their own; leaders in wider society have even done worse; filled us with hate and suspicion. A desperate need for self examination is the order of the day as we posses no moral fiber in our being.
